Everyone deserves an arts eduction.

Our story

We believe that learning an art is truly the key to the heart … that mental health, confidence, and happiness can all come from a great arts education.

So we founded Angels of Music, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to arts education.

Angels of Music empowers people to achieve their dreams, regardless of financial ability, by creating and curating the most effective, entertaining online music eduction, as well as offering free visual arts education. We provide scholarships or free online and in-person arts education services.

Angels of Music was founded by April Malina, a renowned vocal coach, voiceover artist, and the founder of Smart Singing — the online portal for voice education. April has dedicated her life to helping students find their voice and express themselves through music. With Angels of Music, she aims to create an even larger positive impact on the world.

How We Help

Voice lessons

Angels of Music Arts Education programs include providing scholarships for online voice lesson videos that cover a range of topics, from basic techniques to advanced performance strategies.

Children’s Musical Theatre programs

In addition to supporting individual students, a core program is to support children's theatre programs. For these invaluable learning organizations, we are scholarship bundles for specific shows (coming soon: The Little Mermaid), as well as singing seminars in the Southern California region.

These resources are available to all approved applicants, free of charge.

We believe in the power of singing — for your confidence, your happiness, and your soul.

Photoshop Tutorials

In addition, a recent alliance allows us to offer tutorials in the visual arts as well! Our partnership with Nucly — a leader in Photoshop training — allows us to offer a certain number of scholarships to their new Nucly Academy, which includes a massive library of Photoshop tutorials, Photoshop tools, as well as a vibrant community of Photoshop users with meetups, challenges, help, and more.

The arts can — and do — change the world. So join us on the journey!

“I went to my vocal class last Friday. It was my third lesson and I could feel myself improve not just my singing skills but also my mental health … The vocal lesson feels like a music therapy.”
